Minting NFTs

Create a test mint

Before minting your new NFTs to the Ethereum, Polygon, or Solana blockchains, it's a great idea to use a test mint to see how your NFT looks. Test mints currently are on mainnet. We'll include the ability to test mint to testnet in the near future.

POST /v1/projects/{id}/test-mint

//Returns a 202 Project minting was accepted for processing

Once you're satisfied with your brand spanking new project, mint your tokens to the destination wallet address.

Minting all tokens at once or on demand?

You may have noticed in the API references that you can mint both at the project level as well as the token level. Minting at the project level will mint all draft tokens at the same time:

POST /v1/project/{id}/mint

//Returns a 202 Project minting was accepted for processing

Minting at the token level allows you to mint individual tokens at any time (aka "mint on demand"). If you prefer to mint tokens individually on demand, like after a checkout process on a marketplace (aka "lazy minting"), a different call can be used to mint a particular token to its destination address:

/v1/tokens/{id}/mint

//Returns a 202 Project minting was accepted for processing
